Three day course in the DeRose Method

On October 9th to the 11th, DeRose Method Studio in SoHo will be hosting in a three-day workshop: DeRose Culture in New York. DeRose Method teachers from Europe and the Americas will be joining us here for this event.

In the agenda below you will find an eclectic combination of practices and lectures covering some of the most interesting and important aspects of the DeRose Method such as corporal techniques, breathing exercises, choreographies, vocalizations techniques as well as self-awareness techniques.

Friday, Oct 9th

7PM to 8PM: Event opening with all teachers - Photo exhibition of corporal techniques - DeRose Method choreography presentation - Mantra (vocalization) practice: The energy and art of vocalization. Free of charge with RSVP.

Saturday, Oct 10th

10AM Class in ády ashtánga sádhana, emphasis on mudrá – Instructor Fabio Martins - DeRose Method Instructor based in London. Free of charge with RSVP.

11AM Course Yôga, Body and Emotions – Professor Marisol Espinosa - President of the Yôga Teachers Association of Porto Alegre, Brazil.

1PM Class in ády ashtánga sádhana, emphasis on pújá – Instructor Eduardo Cirilo – Vice-president Yôga Federation North of Portugal.

2PM Course Ásanas with a Partner – Professor Fernanda Neis – Vice-president International University of Yôga.

4PM Class in ády ashtánga sádhana, emphasis on mantra – Instructor Marcelo Tessari – Director of the DeRose Method Studio in SoHo, NY.

4PM - 5PM Sat Chakra, Circle of Visualization with DeRose Method Instructors. Free of charge with RSVP.

Registration period until Sept 30th: US$ 250 for 4 ády ashtánga sádhanas classes + 4 supplemental courses.After Sept 30th: $275.

Special Fee until Sept 30th: US$200 for DeRose Method-enrolled students and instructors. After Sept 30th: $275.
